A strong driving maul was touched down by hooker Gregor Hiddleston. Prior to the break, Darge forced his way over, with Adam Hastings' conversion making it a two-point deficit at half-time. The Scottish club took the lead for the first time early in the second half. A poor kick was collected by number eight Jack Dempsey, who set up captain Kyle Steyn to break a challenge and race away to the try-line. With in the ascendancy, Glasgow clinched the fourth try when McDowall ran through a defender to celebrate his century for the team. That score completed a sequence of twenty-six unanswered points. Sale gave themselves a late hope when Louw used good skills to score. The conversion made it a five-point game with time left. A final opportunity came for them from a throw in the corner, but they failed to secure the ball, sealing the Warriors' victory. What's Next? Sale Sharks must bounce back ahead of a trip to face Clermont next Saturday. Meanwhile, Glasgow will host six-time winners Toulouse to their home ground.
